Recording
- To start recording, tap the button in the Notes Screen.
- The session is paused at the beginning. Tap the button to start recording.
- The recording can be paused at any time by tapping the button. It can be resumed by tapping the button again.
- Tap on the button to create a new page.
- Use the button and the button to navigate through the pages that you have created.
- To access the Recording Options Panel, tap the button
Pencil Mode
- Write on the screen just as though you were using a notepad. Your notes will be recorded in real-time and can be played back later.
- Use the button to erase and pencil marks you have made. These will also be recorded.
- Tap the button start writing again.
- Taping the button will also bring up a pallet for you to choose a new color for your writing.
- Hide the pallet by tapping the button again.
Thumb Rest
- The Thumb Rest is a unique feature that allows to rest allows you to rest your thumb on the screen.
- It will track your thumb's movement while preventing any unwanted input.
- This allows for more accurate writing with your finger.
- It can be enabled or disabled either in the Setting Screen or the Recording Options Panel when you tap the button.
Wrist Guard
- The wrist guard is a slidable pad where you can rest your wrist.
- It can be enabled or disabled either in the Setting Screen or the recording options panel when you tap the button.
- Slide it to any desired position by dragging the top left corner of the Wrist Guard.
- Close it quickly by tapping the top right of the Wrist Guard.
Zooming, Panning and Scrolling
- Use the pinch open gesture to zoom in and the pinch close gesture to zoom out.
- Dragging with 2-fingers will move the canvas around while you are zoomed in.
- On the bottom right of a zoomed in canvas, you'll find the Positioning Mini-Window.
- The red box in that window indicates you current screen position in the document.
- Dragging the red box or taping anywhere on the Positioning Mini-Window is a great way to quickly navigate to any point in the document.
Auto-Scroll
- Auto-Scroll is a tool that moves the canvas automatically while it is zoomed in.
- When enabled and zoomed in, darkened regions will appear on the right and the bottom sides of the screen.
- Simply tap the darkened region, or release a stroke inside those regions to have the canvas scroll automatically.
- You can also perform a carrage return by tapping the button.
Text Mode
- Typing can be activated with the button. This is going to bring up the keyboard.
- The and buttons are used to move the cursor around one character at a time.
- The and the buttons move the cursor one word at a time.
- Tapping the button will return the app back to Pencil Mode
Playing
- To start playing at note, tap the button.
- Tap on any part of your notes to seek to that moment in your note. The audio from that moment will also be played back.
- You can also drag the to seek to any pont in your note.
- The note can be paused at any time by tapping the button. It can be resumed by tapping the button again.
- Use the button and the button to navigate through the pages that you have created.
Reading
- In this mode, you can quickly read pages without having to wait for the audio or the pen strokes to playback.
- To navigate, simply tap the or buttons.
Additional Settings
Playback Line Transparency
- This section is used to set the appearance of the notes' preview during playback.
- The 0% opacity can be very useful when presenting your notes to others.
Audio Recording Quality
- By adjusting this setting, the audio for your notes can either be optimized for maximum audio quality, or reduce your note size.
Note Background
- This allows you to change the initial background of your notes to best suit your needs.
