Scribbie is a note taking app and an audio
recorder all-in-one. While you're jotting
down your important notes, Scribbie
records the audio and pencil strokes at
the same time.
When you're done, you can play them
back simultaneously. If you want to seek
to any point in time, just tap anywhere near your
notes and Scribbie plays back audio recorded at that very
moment.

- To start recording, tap the
button and you'll be taken to the
note recording session.
- The session is paused at the
beginning and will wait for you to
tap the button before it actually
starts recording your pencil strokes and sound.
- While recording, you can pause at anytime by tapping
the button. You can resume recording by tapping the button again
- You can make a new page while recording by tapping the button. You can also navigate between pages by tapping the
or the button
- When you are done recording, you can save your recording by tapping the button.
- If you do not wish to save your recording, just tap the button to return to the home screen.
- To playback a note, select the note you wish to playback in the home screen and then tap the button.
- While the note is playing, you can seek to any point in the note using the slider.
- You can also tap anywhere on the canvas to seek to the recording at that point in time.
- To pause the playback at any point, simply tap the button. Tapping the button will resume playback.
- You can seek to any point while the note is paused. To resume, press to start playback at that point in time.
- Tapping allows you to quickly browse through the pages of a note quickly and efficiently.
- In this mode, you can quickly jump from page to page without having to wait for the audio or the pen strokes to playback.
- To navigate, simply tap the or the button.
- Firstly, you will need to connect your iPad to a computer with iTunes installed.
- Launch iTunes if it has not been launched already and connect your iPad.
- Click on your iPad under Devices on the left side of the iTunes window to start managing your iPad.
- Locate the App button near the top of the window and click on it.
- Scroll down to the File Sharing section and select the Scribbie Free App on the left.
- On the right side, select the file you want to share, click "Save To", and choose a destination.
- After the file is saved, you can send that file to anyone else with the latest version of Scribbie.
Playback Line Transparency
- This section is used to set the appearance of your notes' preview during playback.
- The 0% opacity can be very useful when presenting your notes to others.
Audio Recording Quality
- By adjusting this setting, you can choose whether to optimize your note for maximum audio quality, or for extending your recording time.
Note Background
- This allows you to change the background of the note to best suit your needs.
